Every year, March 8 is celebrated as International Women’s Day to celebrate the cultural, political, and socio-economical achievements of women. Moreover, March also marks the beginning of Women’s History Month across the globe. It starts on March 1 and ends on March 31. The goal behind Women’s Day is to spread the message of gender equality, celebrate the achievements and contributions of women in different spheres, and work towards building a society free of all gender biases, stereotypes, gender parity, and discrimination. On this day, people appreciate the strong, intelligent, talented, and simply extraordinary women in their lives.
Women all around the world are doing incredible things to forge equality, a world free of bias, stereotypes, and discrimination, and create a planet that is diverse, equitable, and inclusive.? Jo Bishop, Gillian Ellern, Maria Teresa Vazquez Osorio, Krystyna Siposova, Panagiota Kordali, Sana Farid, Tatiana Tsialouki, and Olga Avilova all prove that starting small can lead to a significant impact.?

Dr. Jo Bishop is an Associate Dean of students and Curriculum Lead for the Bond Medical Program and a member of 3D Organon’s Scientific Advisory Board.? She contributes significantly to international discussions on student support and medical education pedagogy.
Gillian D. Ellern is the VR lab coordinator for Hunter Library at Western Carolina University and a member of 3D Organon’s Scientific Advisory Board.? As the Systems Librarian at Western Carolina University for over 30 years, she has written and presented on a variety of library technology topics, including 3D Organon.
Dr. Mar?a Teresa V?zquez Osorio?is a Full Professor in Human Anatomy and Embryology and Director of the Bodies Donation Centre at the Complutense University of Madrid. She is also a member of 3D Organon’s Scientific Advisory Board. Her areas of expertise are laryngeal reinnervation, anatomical variations with clinical interest.
Krystyna Siposova is the 3D Organon Sales Manager for NCSA & Oceania. She is an experienced sales professional with a focus on innovative products and solutions aimed at enterprise customers.?
Dr. Panagiota Kordali is a medical practitioner and educator with expertise in anatomical sciences. She is co-leading the multi-award-winning 3D Organon and SKYLECT software platforms. She has a background in surgery and teaching in tertiary education institutions. Dr. Kordali led 3D Organon to become the world?s leading XR medical anatomy platform.
Sana Farid has been listed among the TOP 100 Women in XR globally, Dr. Sana Farid is a General Surgeon in Training and a pioneer in Extended Reality (XR) and Artificial Intelligence (AI) in Healthcare. Dr. Sana continues with her contributions to research and building industry standards which won her highly prestigious recognitions and awards globally.
Tatiana Tsialouki is the Digital Marketing Specialist of 3D Organon. She is?responsible for creating and administering content on all social media platforms, building an audience, and ensuring customer engagement.?
Dr. Olga Avilova is an Assistant Professor of Anatomy at the Department of Human Anatomy, Kharkiv National Medical University. She is also a member of 3D Organon’s Scientific Advisory Board. Olga obtained her specialty in Pathology. She teaches human anatomy for the first and second-year English-medium students for the past 10 years. Her research interest is in medical education, virtual reality in anatomy, and immunotoxicology.?
