About the speakers

Stephanie Morrison serves as the Program Head for Arts and Sciences at Saskatchewan Polytechnic and has a strong interest in supporting faculty who teach human anatomy for the health sciences. She leads curriculum development across several anatomy courses and works closely with instructors across multiple campuses to enhance teaching practices and student learning. Stephanie is also a strong advocate for digital innovation, integrating virtual reality and other immersive technologies to enrich anatomical understanding and improve student engagement. She is committed to exploring new approaches that strengthen faculty confidence and elevate the learning experience across post-secondary education.

Keenan Flegel is a Learning Technology Trainer at Saskatchewan Polytechnic, who specializes in faculty support and digital innovation in teaching and learning. In his role, Keenan leads the institution’s Technology Enhanced Learning (TEL) initiative, guiding strategic efforts to enhance instructional quality through the effective use of digital tools. He also heads Saskatchewan Polytechnic’s VR program, working collaboratively with faculty, industry partners, and students to integrate immersive technologies that elevate applied learning. With a strong passion for emerging technologies, Keenan is dedicated to exploring new approaches that improve student engagement, accessibility, and real-world skill development. His work focuses on equipping educators with the confidence and capability to use advanced learning technologies in meaningful and impactful ways.
