3D Organon invites educators, students, and healthcare professionals to an upcoming Immersive Education Webinar titled “From VR to OR: Using 3D Organon as a Pre-Lab Learning Tool for Surgical Simulation Labs in Undergraduate Anatomy.” The session will take place on June 25 at 9:00 AM EDT.
In this engaging webinar, Jenna K. Kuczek, Graduate Teaching Associate at The Ohio State University, will explore how immersive technologies are transforming anatomy education and helping bridge the gap between classroom learning and clinical practice.
Featured Speaker
The webinar will be led by Jenna K. Kuczek, MS, third-year PhD student and Graduate Teaching Associate in the Department of Biomedical Education and Anatomy at The Ohio State University College of Medicine. Jenna brings extensive experience in undergraduate and graduate-level anatomy instruction, including musculoskeletal and clinical anatomy, alongside innovative work in virtual reality (VR) and simulated surgical labs.
Her PhD research focuses on developing and implementing a clinical anatomy course for undergraduate students, integrating immersive VR environments and simulation-based surgical training. She has also developed the Advanced Musculoskeletal Anatomy course at OSU and has presented her work at the American Association for Anatomy conference. Her contributions have been recognized with multiple awards, including the Sam Drogo Technology in the Classroom Award, the John Martin Second Timers Award, and the Graduate Associate Teaching Award, among others.
