Taegu Science University is a higher education institution in South Korea. Taegu Science College occupies an important place in the country’s education system. There, the teaching is carried out at the highest level, and the educational process meets international standards.

Taegu Science University created a VR Anatomy Program, which combines anatomy, IT technology, and the 3D Organon VR Anatomy software solution.

Through the creation of a large-scale VR laboratory, Taegu Science University promotes the cultivation of differentiated future-style classrooms.

Various fields can use the 3D Organon VR Anatomy Lab, such as basic physiology and anatomy. Specifically, 3D Organon 2022 edition includes over 12.000 anatomical structures across 15 body systems. Moroever, it’s showcasing new features such as imaging, ultrasound VR simulation, new sectioning tool, refactored body actions, new microscopic models, and new environments among others.

Unlike typical VR programs, 3D Organon supports its own multi-cross-platform technology. Professors explain that group training is an amazing advantage of 3D Organon. In other words, 3D Organon offers the possibility of clinical training for individuals and groups in a VR program.

By introducing these new technologies, Taegu Science University is looking forward to building the core infrastructure of the health and medical industry of the future.

Meanwhile, 3D Organon has been used by universities through numerous national projects, including the Korea New Deal, Innovation Sharing University, and the LINC project. All these, foster industry-academia cooperation and leading universities.
